User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 If I have my attachments list longer than visible area, I can't scroll it. There's no scroll bar, mouse wheel doesn't work and VERY strange result appears when using keyboard. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Create New Message or Ctrl-M 2. Press Include an Attachment button 3. Select many files (for me, 7 was enough) 4. Look onto attachments list at the left side Actual Results: Attachments list was bigger (taller) than available height, but there was no vertical scrollbar. Mouse wheel scrolling did not work, too. When I select one element with mouse and then try to move down using keyboard arrows I saw: cursor gone out from visible area, and some elements at the top of list became invisible! Expected Results: Attachments list should be scrollable when it is too large. Scrollbar should appear in that case. Attachments elements should not become invisible while using the room at the pane.
I use Mostly Crystal theme for Thunderbird. Maybe that makes sense. Could not reproduce with Default theme...
similiar bugs: Bug 242531 and Bug 220402
Related to bug 122180? That one was fixed recently, and the real cause was bug 195355, so probably Thunderbird was affected as well.
Sergey Kirienko: you did not include your TB version in this report, please do so in future bugs. As noted in the dupe, I do not see this behavior with TB 0.7, and I believe it was fixed as part of bug 122180. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 220402 ***
