User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040514 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040514 when you send an email through hotmail to another hotmail user, with an address that is no longer accepting mail, click send and it connects to hotmail's server, then says done (status bar in bottom). I fire up Internet Explorer do the same thing, and a pop up message box appears telling me the hotmail address i entered is no longer valid. without seeing this message box one could wonder if there hotmail account was working at all. (it seems to only do this with hotmail accounts) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.log into hotmail 2.click new message 3.send to any invalid hotmail address 4.click send. Actual Results: the pop up window hotmail tells Internet Explorer to open doesn't open in Mozilla or Firefox. so in essence it looks like the browser is not working. Expected Results: open the pop up window.
Do you have popup blocking enabled? If so have you tried to white list hotmail.com(or whatever it might be)
well, that fixed the problem thanks.
