User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040517 Camino/0.8b
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040517 Camino/0.8b
Sheets in Firefox disable all menus.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Delete ~/Library/Phoenix to get default behavior
2. Start Firefox and open no more than one window
3. Go to <http://www.mozilla.org>
4. Type something into the search field
5. See the sheet "The information you have entered is to be sent over an
unencrypted connection ..."
Actual Results:
All menus in the menu bar are disabled.
Expected Results:
Only commands that apply to the window should be disabled. Other commands like
File->New should still be available.
Sheets are window modal. They should block interaction with their parent window.
Interaction with the application however should not be blocked (that's what an
application modal dialog would be for). It should be possible to access commands
that apply to the application while a sheet is showing no a window. These
commands include File->New, Firefox->About Mozilla Firefox,
Firefox->Preferences, and most in the Tools, Window, and Help menus.
Can confirm with:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040526
