Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040517 Camino/0.8b Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040517 Camino/0.8b Two things are wrong with the behavior of popup menu buttons in Firefox: 1.) Clicking a button, holding, then releasing the mouse button does not close the menu. It sticks. However the menu should only stick if the popup button is clicked quickly. With the behavior wrong like this it's not possible to explore the menu with a single click. 2.) The menu opens below the popup button. However, the menu should open on top of the popup button with the selected item exactly over the button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Preferences->Downloads->Download Folder->Save to this folder is one example of a popup button. Another one is when a download initiates and a dialog asks with which app the download should be opened. Actual Results: Popup buttons have wrong behavior. Expected Results: Popup buttons should behave like all other popup buttons on Mac.
Confirmed using Mozilla-Mac/1.7RC2, so reassigning. See also bug 52106.
