with wireless connection mozilla stalls downloading email but only with some pop server

with some pop3 server mozilla say connecting to the server but don't ask the
password and it stalls. This problem exist only with my wireless connection.
when I try to use a normal cable lan everything works fine.
I have an adsl line with a router connected with the acces point.
I've olso tried to install netscape with the same configuration of mozilla and
It works fine.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.have an adsl with a router connected to an access point 802.11b, 2.4 GHz
2.make a pop3 mail account 
3.get mail 

Actual Results:  
mozilla stalls connecting with the pop3 server before it can ask the password

Expected Results:  
connection and download the new messages
