Although it built using the same .mozconfig, the directory structures of Profile differ by trunk and AVIARY. trunk version: ~/Library/Firefox/Profiles/default/xxxx.slt/* AVIARY_1_0_20040515_BRANCH: ~/Library/Firefox/Profiles/default.sqx/* Mac OS X 10.3.4 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040528 Firefox/0.8.0+ Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040527 Firefox/0.8.0+
not a bug, there's a number of changes that haven't yet landed on the trunk (such as the revamped profile work to support the extension manager) so the trunk is still using the old architecture.
