User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040528 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040528 In the page at http://home.comcast.net/~dhines110/index.htm, the clock plugin and the accuweather graphic should be both left justified and drop down list should have a GO button next to it. In current browser accuweather graphic doesn't display, clock is centered, and GO button for drop down list is not displayed. Works OK in ie6, opera 7.5 and mozilla 1.6, 1.7, and early 1.8. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open page http://home.comcast.net/~dhines110/index.html 2. 3. Actual Results: page displays incorrectly Expected Results: run same in mozilla 1.6
I'm not sure if you realize this, but there is no such thing as a <left> tag in HTML4. So you were probably lucky it ever did anything....
The "go" button not appearing is bug 171713 (the page never closes the <select>). I'm not sure how that could have worked in 1.6, since that bug is significantly older than 1.6. The rest is a corollary of that issue. In my build with a patch for bug 171713 the page displays "fine".
