I find that every time I go to the 'developers' page at mozilla.org I have to search for the documentation links. I think that they need to be split out into their own section to make them easier to find. I'll attach a diff of my suggested changes.
Attached patch suggested change — — Splinter Review
This isn't a radical move, it keeps the same feel of the website, it makes it easier to see links. Do I need a review for this or should I just check the changes in?

I don't think you need review for this

I don't have CVS perms to write to the doc tree (using doctor). I can't find the website using cvs command line. Anyone else want to help out???
Since this page is still used and comment #3 says no review is needed, I'll check this in tomorrow.

Changing "Web developers" to "people writing web pages about Mozilla languages and standards" is pretty clearly wrong.
(In reply to comment #8) > Changing "Web developers" to "people writing web pages about Mozilla languages > and standards" is pretty clearly wrong. > Yeah, I noticed that too. Before I noticed your note at the bottom of the page, I was going to commit it and change that to be something like "Documentation for people writing web pages concerning Mozilla" or something like that.
No, it has nothing to do with writing web pages *about* Mozilla. It's about writing Web pages, or perhaps about writing Web pages that work correctly in Mozilla, but they don't have to be about Mozilla.
(In reply to comment #10) > No, it has nothing to do with writing web pages *about* Mozilla. Documentation for people writing Web pages using Web standards and Mozilla technologies.
(In reply to comment #12) > Documentation for people writing Web pages using Web standards and Mozilla > technologies. Sounds great. Do you have a problem with anything else in the patch, or may I go ahead and commit with this change?
With that change, and if you verify that the amazon.com URLs are unchanged (I didn't), go ahead.
Checking in mozilla-org/html/developer/index.html; /cvsroot/mozilla-org/html/developer/index.html,v <-- index.html new revision: 1.48; previous revision: 1.47 done I modified some of the other text to sound better and to match the other format, and I swapped the URLs back to the old ones as they were shorter (less likely not to work) and still worked just fine.
