can you attach a GDB stacktrace ?
You'll need to recompile Mozilla from scratch unless your build has debug
symbols, can you attach about:buildconfig output to check ?
Possibly dupe of bug 237809.

just totally OT, but Ekkehard: Don't you have a space key anymore :)? I only see
"|" where a " " should be.
@see bug 237809

I'm afraid no. I can't compile it myself (I'm at work here, and not admin on the
machine)

Maybe. I must have used wrong search keywords then :-(

I've got a space key. Ansd I'm using it :-)
I've got the same problem here, but don't know why. Prior to filing the bug, it
looked okay. Very strange...
btw.: I won't be able to do more tests until next monday (June 14th, 2004) due
to public holidays and weekend.

can you attach a HTTP log (to keep it small, visit the crashing site only) ?
See instructions here:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/http/http-debugging.html
*** make sure to remove any credentials from this log *** (such as the encrypted
password during the HTTP authentication negotiation, replace characters with *** )
If you think IP@ are sensitve too, you can remove them too. :)

bug 237089 is in UNCO state, so it's not part of the default bugzilla search,
that's why you may not have spotted it.

This should be fixed in nightly builds 20040612+ and Mozilla 1.7 when it's released.
Please reopen if still crashing with these builds.
