User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040523 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Tb 6+ (20040609) trunk build When clicking on messages in the messages pane, Thunderbird crashes after the third (plus minus one) message. I tried different messages in different folders, there doesn't seem to be any pattern in the mails causing Tb to crash. This bug somehow resembles bug #243154, but the folders won't be corrupted. I have similar problems with my Tb 6+ (20040609) trunk build. Fortunately, the folders are not corrupted. It's just Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Please ignore the last two lines. It's just a copy and paste error.
Dominik Seelow: Do you have same problem with Thunderbird 0.7.x? Could you provide Talkback incident ID?

I'm going to tag on to this thread, to report some recent Thunderbird crahes which appear to be quite random. I'm currently using version 0.7+ (20040812), branch, installer, with Windows XP Home. A few minutes ago, I clicked on an old message in one folder, TB crashed. I find that TB often crashes *after* I've closed it: I'll close the program, and a short while later, the crash notification will appear. Several days ago, when installing that day's release, I also installed Talkback, but, just as with Firefox, it never actually delivers anything. That is, I'll let the program try eight or ten times to deliver the crash report, and then I'll cancel the report as I tire of wasting so much time as it tries to deliver a report. The crashing started sometime with in the past two weeks or so. Until the crashes started, with whatever release I happened to be using at the time, a TB crash was quite rate, but now are all too common. I might be able to get a screen capture of the data created when a TB crash appears in lieu of a Talkback report, if that would be of any use to anyone. If so, let me know where and how to submit same, and I'll see if it can be done.
