User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
On some pages (haven't been able to post the URI as it is not public) Mozilla
Firefox will, pretty much randomly, insert Ã's .. Which causes, that Password
Manager will popup every time i enter that site (HTTP Auth) asking for user / pass.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open up the site with http auth (whatever.com)
2. enter user / pass - and surf the site
3. close browser and start from step 1 again :)
Actual Results:
Password Manager saved a new "post" in the password list .. with another
somewhat random title..
Expected Results:
Auto-filled out the HTTP Auth box..

Don't you have a example site with a public URL? It's very hard to reproduce
your bug without a URL.

This bug was last touched before 1.0.4. Is it still reproducable?
Try the latest branch build (1.0.5): http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Try the latest nightly trunk build (v1.0+): http://www.mozilla.org/developer
(Reviving old UNCONFs)
