When I deleted the Firefox/chrome/classic.jar/skin/classic/mozapps/shared/viewFader.png The lag is no more seen and the Theme/Extension Manager works flowlesly. That's a good observation. But I think it is better to mark this bug as a duplicate of bug 227260 and add this comment to that bug
