User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; de-DE; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040210 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; de-DE; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040210 Firefox/0.8 - open the history bar - enter a search string there and confirm - close the history bar - re-open the history bar: Now the search results of the last search are shown instead of the whole history, although the search string is not displayed anymore. I don't think that you should keep the search string, but you should show whole histoty after re-opening history bar. The current behaviour is confusing the user. For the bookmark bar this works correct. You should fix this to behave like the bookmark bar. (Sorry for my bad english.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
