User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Firefox/0.8 If a warning dialog box pops up while I'm trying to do a drag-and-drop of any kind, the button in the dialog will be unclickable although it appears clickable. Firefox then becomes totally uninteractable. The only way to close this dialog box is to crash Firefox using the Windows Task Manager, which closes all open Firefox windows, including those not affected by it. If there are downloads in progress, the downloads also crash instantly. Note that I'm using Firefox 0.9 RC1, although it reports it as 0.8. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.Connect to the internet using a slow internet connection. 2.Open a web page in one tab. 3.Open several other web pages, each in it's own tab in the same window. 4.While the other web pages are loading, intitate a drag-drop operation. Actual Results: If a dialog box appears during the drag-drop operation, Firefox becomes uninteractable. Expected Results: The button should remain clickable under all conditions.
Same thing like Bug 244702. Duping?

I can reproduce this - 0.9 on win2k. Think this qualifies as a hang.

It seems to disable the buttons. However in a prompt box, as soon as you type something you regain control

I make sure to approve or deny all cookies so I run into this problem a lot. I just want to point out that the buttons are NOT disabled. If you tab around the prompt box you can tell that they indeed do still work. You can tab until one of the buttons are selected and then hit space/enter to clear the box. However, neither the box, nor the browser responds to any mouse clicks whatsoever. Can't drag the box or the window, mess with the window controls(minimize, maximize, close), can't even get those options from the task bar(the dialog just flashes). This bug is totally reproducable, not only by the ctrl+click that the original poster states, but by dragging droping or any action that would cause the cookie dialog to come up. This bug still exists in current versions of Firefox(1.5).

This bug still exists in Firefox 2.0.0.7(Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 ID:2007091417). I ran into the exact same symptoms as Mike(Comment #15) I was not able to reproduce this bug in Minefield 3.0a9pre (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007100905 Minefield/3.0a9pre ID:2007100905). I am able to click on the prompt box via the mouse as expected.

(In reply to comment #8) > corresponding Seamonkey bug is Bug 100180 Bug 100180 is (now ?) Core: I guess the current bug should be duplicated to it. (In reply to comment #23) > I was not able to reproduce this bug in Minefield 3.0a9pre (Mozilla/5.0 > (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007100905 > Minefield/3.0a9pre ID:2007100905). I am able to click on the prompt box via > the mouse as expected. Odd. Could you try and find a narrower timeframe for when it started to work ?
