User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 When ctrl-clicking a link (or selecting "Open in new tab") it does so. FireFox doesn't place the URL of that tab in the address bar until it gets a reply from the server. Now, when that links gives for example a server-timeout or an "address not found"-error you can't impssibly see what url gave that error (only from the warning box). But if you have like 5 tabs open and 5 errors are returned, or when you have a complex URL you can't possibly remeber that/those url(s). If you want to retry to connect to that page by pressing the reload button, you simply can't because there's no URL in the address bar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit a page that links to a non-existing webaddress (for example make your own page that links to http://sfqsmjkfjzabedsojbf.com, which does not exist) or to a server that gives a timeout. 2. Open that link in a new tab 3. You will get an error that the address is not found 4. When going to that tab you'll see that the address-bar is EMPTY 5. thus you can't reload the page NOR can you remove an eventual typo from the url Actual Results: the address-bar is empty Expected Results: the address-bar shouldn't be empty but contain the url which was not found or gave a timeout
