It just goes on searching for the word in a loop. I think the app should tell me that I have reached the end of the page and now whether I want to search from top. Also if there is only one instance of a word in a page, find will be trapped there and just doesn't respond. It is right in its place as it is resting on the only find instance. Some sort of message at this context would help avoid confusion. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Summary: Find dialog doesn't end the search and tell me that. → Find dialog doesn't tell me when it reaches the end of the page
1. Did you search from the toolbar field or from ctrl+F (or the Edit menu) ? 2. Do you have "wrap" option enabled ?
(In reply to comment #1) > 1. Did you search from the toolbar field or from ctrl+F (or the Edit menu) ? > 2. Do you have "wrap" option enabled ? I used Ctrl + F and Wrap was enabled. Now, I find that without wrap the error message is given and also search stops after going around once, in one direction , either up or down. Thanks.
Thanks for the response. Marking the bus as invalid.
