I'm using TB/0.6 and the 20040615 XPI. I have an existing Calendar file that I
try to load and whenever I do, TB crashes:

*** global extensions startup!
*** profile extensions startup
/usr/bin/thunderbird: line 317: 3975 Segmentation fault $mozbin "$@"

I replaced the Calendar file with one that is more sparse and the problem didn't
show up. It may be related to bug 245585, but since I can't get anything
working, I can't validate this information.

Is there a way for me to know what Sunbird is doing? Some type of debug option
(or very verbose option) that will show me what part of the calendar file it is
parsing?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Can you please attach your .ics file which causes the crash here?
Ah, I meant to say that. I don't want to post it in a public place because it
contains personal phone numbers and email addresses. I can send it to you
directly, provided you don't put it in Bugzilla.
Can you confirm that if you select not to show missed alarms it won't crash anymore?
If yes this is a dupe of bug 229916
Yes, I can confirm that. I modified the prefs.js file manually and was able to
start Sunbird. Then in the Preferences menu I said to show missed alarms. I
clicked OK and Sunbird went bye-bye into the sunset... or it got hit by a car
and turned to roadkill, whichever image pleases you most.

Marking it as a dupe (if I'm allowed to do so).

Thanks,

L
