FastFind says "Incident Not Found' for submitted Thunderbird incidents.
Thunderbird version 0.7a (20040614)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Crash Thunderbird 0.7a (say, by trying to run Calendar with alarms)
2. Submit talkback report when talkback dialog appears
3. run components/talkback.exe to get talkback incident id,
status "sent", incident ID like "TB101571Y"
4. Submit incident id to TalkBack FastFind at
http://talkback-public.mozilla.org/talkback/fastfind.jsp
Actual Results:
Incident Not Found.
No entry for Incident ID: 101571
Expected Results:
Talkback stack analysis for incident.
seems like a general fastfind bustage. My browser crashed and Talkback'ed, but
the ID didn't show either.
Can you bring up Talkback.exe as a separate process?
Reply to comment #1: FastFind seems to working on mozilla crashes, like
TB82184K from a few days ago, but not thunderbird crashes.
To get the talk back incident ID, follow instructions in the Bug Writing Guidelines:
"If your problem is Mozilla crashing, Talkback data is very helpful to engineers
trying to diagnose the problem. If you can consistently reproduce the crash,
please download a build with Talkback and install it. Then, do what is necessary
to reproduce the crash, and follow the instructions for sending crash data to
the server. Lastly, run the program components/talkback.exe (Win32) or
components/talkback/talkback (Unix) and find your "Incident ID". Include this
with the bug report. Please don't paste the raw Talkback data into your bug."

Trust me, i'm an trained professional... ;) i know how to get those things. The
fact that it worked for the browser a few days ago doesn't mean it works now. My
browser crash from yesterday wasn't recorded.
for the moment i'm duping this to bug 246557.

Ok, I assumed talkback has to be set up separately for each new build
(the client sends numeric data, so presumably the server has to be updated with
symbol tables for each build before it can produce a stack trace).

Marking fixed.
All Mozilla product releases now have Talkback. If the user has it enabled at
install time, you should be able to submit crashes and look them up. However,
keep in mind that we have to delete older incidents from the Talkback db due to
diskspace limitations...so they will only be around for about 2 weeks after
submission.
I have actually added some logic to Fastfind to tell you if the crash has been
deleted from the db or if it has not yet been processed and stored.
