I'm finding that many pages with Applets, after a closing them, hangs the
browser for at least 30 seconds.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.mozilla.org
2. Open a new tabbed page and go to
http://www.two-way-radio.org.uk/wrist-watch-radio.htm
3. Close down the new tab.


Actual Results:  
I have no control for at least 30 seconds.

Expected Results:  
Immediately return control to the browser so I can go off surfing!
