Details

Steps to reproduce: 1) Download firefox .9 (link in url field) 2) uncompress. 3) mount Firefox-mac.dmg file 4) Open mounted Firefox volume 5) Try to run Firefox. When I try to run off the mounted volume Firefox repeatedly launches and quits. As noticed in my Dock. I had to umount -f /Volumes/Firefox in order to make it stop. A couple of notes. 1) I don't believe any flavour of mozilla has ever existed on this machine. 2) obviously copying Firefox out of the volume and onto my desktop allowed me to launch it from there.
