247187 - JPEGs not displayed and missing buttons

These are two pesky problems that have dogged Firefox from the start. #1 is that
JPEGs on, say, ebay aren't displayed (no probs with IE). #2 is that buttons are
hidden from display although do function, e.g. on Amazon's website (again no
probs with IR). Is it too much to hope that this'll be fixed in 1.0??

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try any ebay item.
2. Try ordering any Amazon product.

Actual Results:  
As already described.

Expected Results:  
It's obvious.

The JPEGs display fine in:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616 Firefox/0.9

Can you please confirm that you have "Load Images for the originating Web site
only" unchecked (off) in the Tools->Options->Web Features window.

[e-mail] has sorted both these issues; the problem was that "load images
for the originating web site only" was checked by default. Please could this be
changed to unchecked.

Correcting resolution (in general, FIXED mean something in the Firefox source
code was altered to solve the problem, if changing a pref solved the problem
then use INVALID).

p.s. The pref is definitely unchecked by default in 0.9, perhaps your copy of
Firefox has carried over the checked status from earlier versions.
