The pulldown menu in the Fonts pref window titles "fonts for" comes up empty. This should be populated.
think i have a fix for this i can put in next week. Just using dom select. If a select list is not select it should select the first entry . Not sure if this is a dom bug or not. Have to ask vidur.

is this still a problem? the "Fonts for" dropdown list is populated (looking at today's linux bits). i do notice that the first line of the dropdown list is empty, but pulling it down shows the font names.
