User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040510 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040510 While scrolling up or down with mouse scroll wheel the browser behaves erratically, in the sense that instead of stopping at top or bottom of the page it lands in previous page as if the user has pressed 'Back' button of the browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Try a more recent build and see if the problem persists.
I have been using the latest build 2.6.5-1.358 of Fedora Core 2 and I tried to use two subsequent builds, but both of them freeze while booting at 'new hardware detection' stage. I do not know how to report the hanging bugs but I request you may like to pass on to the developers dealing with the same so that this can serve as feedback to the developers team. Thanks babumovva
Try newer Mozilla builds, and report both the system and browser build ID.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 StumbleUpon/1.998 I am able to reproduce this every time I use FF 1.0PR. Tried it with a new profile, tried it with tonight's build and I have the same behaviour. I have completely uninstalled FF (zapped all associated dirs and reg keys) and still have the problem. When scrolling too fast, FF pages forwards or backwards in a completely spazzy manner. Microsoft Intellimouse USB, no mouse software and all about:config/mousewheel.* items are "default". This is VERY irritating.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
