With firefox off the AVIARY_1_0_20040515_BRANCH, and
--enable-extensions=venkman, running "./firefox -venkman" results in a hang. 
"./firefox -chrome chrome://venkman/content/" results in a Profile Chooser
dialog, followed by a hang once a profile is chosen. "./firefox -venkman
somejunkhere" results in a browser window.  The hang is in nsAppShell::Run,
within the gdk mainloop; it's just polling, doing nothing.

Bug 247507 is where I'm putting the patch for Firefox 0.9+ support. This bug
will be fixed by it I hope (it works here w/ my version now).
