KDE uses very cool trnslation center (look at URL). It is extremly usefull not only because it centralizes work (what is planned as i know) but also giving localizers almost everything they need to keep localization up to date, and organize their work. This tool is really awsome and it would be very good to have it for our work.

App folks need to decide if they want something like this. Send it back to Server Ops if you have implementation plans.

This bug was filed 1.5 years ago, I doubt that the solution that kde has really flies with our system. Untranslated strings aren't bad, for example. A mere "convert to po and run it" won't do it either. We have compare-locales now, and we could probably create something nifty based on that. Thus instead of morphing this bug into something abstract and FUTURE, I'm just plain honest, take this bug literally, and WONTFIX.
