User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040617 Camino/0.8b+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040617 Camino/0.8b+ OS 10.3.4, latest updates to OS X Java *are* installed After you attempt to load this Java chat client (which obviously won't work for other Java-related problems already found in Bugzilla), you can no longer: close tabs, close windows or Quit Camino, either with keyboard commands or menu commands. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Camino .8 RC1 2. Load one or more non-Java pages into their own tabs 3. Load the above URL into a third tab 4. Click on the "Small" client link 5. Accept the security certificate if it asks 6. As expected the client will not accept key events 7. Now try to close the tab by clicking the "x" - it won't work. 8. Type Command-W - also won't work. 9. Switch to an earlier tab... 10. You can now resume typing into text fields, reading, etc. but you still cannot close the window 11. Try to Quit the app using Command-Q (won't work), try using the menu (same result) 12. You have to force-quit Camino to get out of the session. 12a. Also, the mouse-scrolling feature seems to be killed by this, but I'm not sure if it's directly related. Actual Results: All tabs / the Camino main window gets "locked" into its current state, although when you switch back to the initial tabbed pages, they should work fine if there's no Java functionality present. Expected Results: Once the chat session failed, I should've been able to close that window / or the application if I chose to.
