Erm, well... since it is already here now...

undoclosetab 20040617 has been released.
The version currently listed (20040525) is
<em:maxVersion>0.8.0+</em:maxVersion>, so either remove it or (as it seems that
older releases are kept) update the compatibility info.

Also works with SeaMonkey (only version 1.7 was tested).

You might want to import the description from ER if long descriptions are
supported...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
max version information is read from the install.rdf. So is the description.

Open the file and read the install.rdf please...

I guess I was wrong with the duplicate, I didn't read carefully this bug.

This is not a duplicate of anything in the Browser product.
Please do not mark bugs requesting extensions to be added to update.mozilla.org
to anything in the other products.

Yep, that's what maxVer says. Re-uploaded it and so it is in the queue.
Summary: undoclosetab → Add undoclosetab extension
Whiteboard: In queue
I'm seeing questionable compatibility info but as it's not greater than current.
it's done.

In the future, be sure that maxAppVer, is equal to the current version. unless
it's intentionally less than it.

The version available for download still has a maxVersion of 0.8.0+, has this
been marked fixed because the update is "in the queue" or has something gone wrong?

Due to Bug 247322 anyone installing this older version of the extension from UMO
pretty much dooms their profile to "Finishing Extension Installation" next time
they install another extension.

Ideally (until the bug is fixed) UMO should only list extensions with a
maxVersion of at least 0.9+ otherwise people are going to be hitting the
previously mentioned bug and nuking their profiles.
I swear I looked at maxVer when I re-uploaded it. Maybe it didn't overwrite
properly. Trying again...

I hope you're aware that this was not only a request for having the
compatibility info correct, but also a request to update to the current version...

Since this version was released before Firefox 0.9, yes this was intentional...

The new version is now listed but the "Tabbed Browsing" list still shows the old
version, you have to go to the "Other Versions" link to get to the most recent
version.
That's some other bug. However, I deleted the old version, so it should be
better now.
