By bug 225944 Bookmarks Manager has the left pane to organize items, but IMO
it's definitely an example of bloated UI. At least Bookmarks Manager should have
an option in its menu to disable this "feature".
At this time, I drag the splitter bar between the two panes to the left end and
hide the left pane as possible, but it is preferable that it can be hidden with
one click on the splitter bar just like the side bar in the main window, if the
menu option is too much.

You can drag it all the way to the left if you want, its basically gone at that
point. Adding UI/a pref for this won't happen before we rewrite bookmarks
manager, which will be a radically different form anyway.
