Need some more information here. What version of Java and Java plugin are you
using (about:plugins)? Did this work with previous version of Firefox? Does it
work with Mozilla for Mac? Does it work on Mozilla in other platforms?

Go to www.wwf.org
Click on links to global network, select united states
Click on About wwf.
Click on Contact wwf.
Click on live assistance.
Click on Live Help, fill in info, click on submit request, download plugin with
default options.
Live chat window never comes up, refresh doesn't help.
This works in IE.
Try Firefox doing this again after above test with IE, which also required a
download, and this time the Firefox download stops with a message something like
content doesn't match signature.

Karen: With regards to your issue: Firstly, that site seems to require Java 1.4.
Right now, to use Java 1.4 in Mozilla/MacOSX, you need to get the plugin
available at http://javaplugin.sourceforge.net. I'm guessing the reason the
window does not come up for you is that you probably hava Java 1.3 installed.
Secondly, I think that Java app is not set up to work on Mozilla in general. I
tried on MacOSX, Linux, or Windows. That site needs to investigate why their
Java app doesn't work in Mozilla. You might want to send the site admin a note.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
