User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040615 Firefox/0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040615 Firefox/0.9 If you have an account that receive emails, and those mails are moved because of the action of a filter, the account main folder signs that new mails arrived, even if any new mail is present in the account folder (filter moved all new mails to a Local folder...) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run mozilla-thunderbird 2. Create a filter that move emails from "account" folder to "Local Folder" folder 3. Receive mail from "account" Actual Results: Look at the account main icon. It signal new mails even if the new mail have been moved to Local Folders. Expected Results: The Local folder shows new emails, but the account doesn't, because there is actually no new mail into it's folders. Thunderbird 0.7

I beleive this might be a duplicate of Bug 206050 (cf. Bug 248758).
Interestingly, I don't see any difference in the Account icon ("account main folder") when New status is active, with TB 0.7 under Win2K, default theme; but the icons are definitely different under Mozilla mail. Giacomo Rizzo, which theme are you using? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 116181 ***
