User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Lol, I like the bad example. But seriously, I love the browser. I was getting runtime errors on certain sites and getting frustrated with IE. I switched to Mozilla and it alleviated all my frustrations. I have since recommended it to alot of my peers. My issue is a minor issue but one that could potentially frustrate some select new users. When I go to MLB.com and try to watch their live webcasts I cannot choose the "full screen" option in the browser window for the RealPlayer or Windows Media Player plug-in. The option is not even shown in the window. In IE the "full screen" button shows next to the "preferences" button. The "full screen" button doesn't show at all when using Mozilla even though the "preferences" button does show. I hope one of you at Mozilla has a MLB account to watch the games because this is a subscription option. I searched for this prior and allowed popups from the site in the popup manager but this did not alleviate the issue. This is not a serious issue and I love your browser and use it for all other sites except POGO.COM (POGO lists your browser as uncompatible and I believe its because their pop-ups get blocked thus decreasing their ad revenue, lol). I just hope this does not dissuade others to go back to IE. Thanks, Adam A. Castillo Network Engineer ITEQ, Inc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to MLB.com and choose the tv icon next to a baseball game in action. 2. a popup window will show containing the game in either a real-player or windows media player. (you will need an account but can buy a single game for $1.99, this should allow you to continue to log out and reload this game until its over or about 3 hours) 3. you will not have an option to choose full screen for the view whichever you choose. you can toggle between real player and windows media player without logging out using the preferences button. Actual Results: There is no button to choose the choose the option for full screen for whichever player you are viewing. Expected Results: Should have shown the "full screen" button to choose to view either real player or windows media player in full screen to view the baseball game.
dup of bug 247725?
I belive I found a free way. If you goto the video section. To the left of the Video Central they have what looks like highlights of a player/game. The SPAN that holds the Full screen is sent to Mozilla with visibility:hidden. The span that they are hiding has onclick=playerframe.enableFullScreen(). playerframe is the name of the IFRAME that holds the video and ad. If I click it mozilla tells me player is undefined. I belive this is because IE allows you to access OBJECTs by using there name/id w/o getting useing DOM or document.all. This looks like TE to me. LInux 2004081606 tried WMP(which I don't have) b/c RP is only for live games. Will try windows.
Well in windows I noticed there is a function called show_fullscreen_btn() that changes the visibility. It is run by the init() that is located in the iframe playerframe. But one of the requirements to run that function is that you are running IE. Work around right click and click full screen. Moving to TE. OT We like pogo too, bug 194663
