Did you try to customize the toolbar? I guess there is a "Next" button that can be added to it.
"customize the toolbar" I looked in Tools->Options and couldn't find a place to do that. In Mozilla, there are checkboxes for the buttons you want to appear in Edit->Preferences->Navigator. I don't see them in Thunderbird. -- Doug
