I like to store my sent mail in the IMAP server's inbox.
This allows me to see what mail I have answered already and helps in archiving
entire threads.

Up to Mozilla 1.6 the sent mail was stored in the inbox.
In MOzilla 1.7 the sent mail is now stored in a newly created folder Inbox.INBOX 


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open accout settings/Copies&Folders
2. select "other" for "when sending mail" 
3. specify "Corena-IMAP"->Inbox->Choose this folder.

Actual Results:  
Up to Mozilla 1.6 the sent mail was stored in the inbox as expected.
In Mozilla 1.7 the sent mail is now stored in a newly created folder Inbox.INBOX 


Expected Results:  
Sent Mail should have been stored in Inbox

This does *not* WFM in Thunderbird version 0.7.1 (20040626). A new INBOX.INBOX
folder is still created.

I'm not sure what thunderbird .7.1 is built out of...if it's just .7 plus some
targeted fixes, it probably doesn't have this fix. Can you try a nightly
thunderbird build? Or is your .7.1 tbird build just a nightly build?

marking fixed again - please don't re-open the bug just because it's not fixed
in the particular branch build you're interested in. The fixed status means its
fixed in nightly trunk builds, not in every cvs branch.
