I have Adblock running on my FireFox 0.9 install. I have the following sites
blocked:
bonzi.com
doubleclick.net
falkag.net
valueclick.com
adserver.com

If I go to www.mg.co.za (Online Mail & Gaurdian) Firefox crashes. In the error
details dialog the modname is unknown and the offest is 0000000.

If Adblock is disabled the page loads fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable Adblock
2. Go to http://www.mg.co.za

Actual Results:
Firefox crashes.

Expected Results:
Load the page.

I am using the PlastiFox theme. The crash happens with the default theme. I only
have the default DOM inspector extension running.
A crash caused by an extension should be reported to the extension's author, not
as a Firefox bug.

hmmm, it is a Firefox crash, and Firefox should be stable enough to allow any
extension, how bad it is written.

I have to agree - clearly chrome, etc is not catching a critical error. In this
case the problem seems related to version incompatibilities, which will always
come into existence (as in this case where something in Firefox *and* Mozilla
recently changed) and the end-user must have a meaningful, incompatibility
message presented to them.

Possibly related to bug# 224688 and comments there.
