image backgrounds stuffed within <td> tags within nested tables do not display 
at all.
This works just fine on my WIN98 2000012008 build, marking WORKSFORME.
By looking at your page I assume you mean a bug in Netscape 4.x, not in Mozilla.
If this is not the case, feel free to reopen the bug.
Else, why don't you try browsing your page with Mozilla? The M13 build should 
become available within the next few days, you should consider download it and 
test some websites with it.

I'm verifying this to close it out. The URL listed above now crashes on Windows 
and Mac. New bug written up #27434. If there is still a problem at this site, 
please isolate it with a small testcase and reopen bug.
