The maxVer must be a version of Firefox that you've actually tested this with. 
1.0 is not a valid value.

Not sure about that. A lot of extensions on the site don't have the maxVer set
to 0.9+. Try for example adblock 0.5, the most popular extension on the site,
the maxVer is set to 1.1 ! And this works fine and it's on the site.

Yes, I'm sure it must be a valid version.  We're going to have to clean up the
ones that already got posted.  At the time we were not being as picky, since we
just wanted to get them up.

Ok, i understand now ! I will put 0.9+ for maxVersion. Tell me if it is not a
correct maxVersion number ?

Yes, that's fine as long as you've tested it with a nightly build.  We don't
want people trying to use something that's incompatible.

Ok, but with 0.9+ maxVersion number, even if i've tested it with today's build,
i can't be sure that it will work with any future 0.9+ build. I hope you
understand that. And if i put 0.9 instead, no one with a nightly build will be
able to install it  and that would be annoying.
Conclusion: it should be 0.9+ but we can't be sure of compatibility.

Those using nightly builds do so freely and must acknowledge that s**t happens.
 However, if you know that it stops working, it would be beneficial to a) update
your extension or b) update maxVer on your extension.

URI still has a maxVer of 1.0.  Please reopen once you have corrected this.
