User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 in internet explorer, you can change the icons in the 'links' toolbar if no favicon.ico is supplied by the website. there does not seem to be the ability to do so that i can see (or maybe it's just not documented in the firefox help?). i think that the bookmark manager should allow this, or at the very least, right-clicking on the icon in the toolbar and going to the bookmark's properties should allow you to use a custom icon should there not be one available from the website. p.s. i apologize if this is a duplicate request -- i hunted through the list and couldn't see any requests for this.
