User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Here's a marketing idea: use flash movies to demostrate Firefox features like toolbar costumizations, tabbed browsing, bookmark management, etc. I got the idea from XFCE's website: http://www.xfce.org/index.php?page=screenshots&lang=en (scroll to the bottom) This can be also extented to Thunderbird or the Suite. Personllay, I don't know how to do flash movies but I am sure someone does.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
A "show-off" is not really a tutorial. it's a demo. bug similar to bug 31479 and bug 74338. The demo <www.xfce.org/images/flash/panel.html> loads very slowly on this end (using dial-up), and it isn't very effective (no voice-over). To be effective, we need at least sound, and that could increase the size of the Flash dramatically, not good for online presentation...
Summary: Use flash tutorials to show off Firefox and/or Thunderbird features like XFCE → Use flash demo to show off Firefox/Thunderbird features

Flash isn't an appropriate technology for today, IMHO. Maybe this enhancement request can be closed.
