Maybe this is plugin related. When trying to reproduce this crash, after six
"successful" crash tests I got one crash in LIBC05.DLL which if I'm not mistaken
is the Innotek port of the GNU libc for their Java and Flash support.
This is the crash info for LIBC

LIBC05.DLL
The following may be totally unrelated, but since Mozilla 1.7 RC2 I have had
problems with plugins that worked well so far.
A severe problem is with the MIDI plugin from Netscape. I caused immediate
crashes in SW.DLL once a MIDI file came along, so I had to remove it. Another
plugin that doesn't really work as intended is Innotek's Java. A Java applet
will cause the entire system to hang for about 5 seconds, no screen updates
(even the load indicator in WarpCenter temporarily stops), only mouse works.
After 5 seconds the systems goes back to normal an WarpCenter does not indicate
a high CPU load).

Does it crash if you have no plugins installed?
