Linux (2000-01-24-08 M14) Steps: 1. Bring up the composer from Task|Composer (or from Messenger, click on New Msg button) 2. Type a few words in the compose body and then hit the backspace key (In mail compose, type a word in the Subject field or Body area) Actual result: Crash application Expected result: No crash This happens on Linux. Win and Mac test will follow.

As th crash also occurs with composer, I reassign this bug to editor folk.
Win32 (2000-01-24-08 M14) Hitting a backspace also crash on Win_nt 4.0 On Mac, I use the Delete key, it works fine.
This should be fixed for M13.
