Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create new profile / start firefox
2.file/import/microsoft internet explorer
3.import either saved passswords or saved form history

Actual Results:  
window opens/ says it's importing/ nothing happens, locks up/ stops responding.
must ctrl/alt/delete to end task.

Expected Results:  
import saved passwords or saved form history.
If none exist a message to that effect.
If problem with import - a message to that effect.
If problem with operator - a message to that effect.
ANYTHING but locking up and not telling me anything about the problem.

Try giving it a more time.  It can take a while to import, especially if there
is a lot of data to import.  I noticed the same symptoms, but after giving
Firefox more time, the import completed.

Does that solve your problem?

Well - waiting a long time seemed to work = after turning grey, saying it
stopped responding, giving me time to write up a response and check all the
passwords, it finally popped up and said it was sucessful.  HOWEVER, the
passwords don't seem to have really been imported.  Where are they stored?  I
don't know about the form history, because I'm unclear on what that really is.

Form history is the form autocomplete.  If the passwords haven't been imported,
file a new bug on that.

Ok - but I think the time lag with greyed out screen and 'not responding'
message should be addressed.  You may not consider it a 'bug' because it works
eventually - but it certainly has 'issues' (not 'features')!
