Where I download the plug in, install, it says navigator will open it. I reboot. HOW can I install this plug in in Firefox? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
The extension installer probably needs to be reworked to play nice with Firefox.

I found this plugin which does work: (http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/windows2.html#MrSID) Lizardtech Express View Version: 3.0.0.290 Firefox 0.8: Automatic Mozilla 1.4: Automatic Netscape 7.1: Automatic The Lizardtech Express View installer will automatically detect your browser's plugins folder and install the plugin. Note: This plugin was previously known as the "MrSID Plugin". You just can't do the install from Ancestry.
