Thunderbird 0.8 has not been released.. (0.7+ is nightlies, IIRC) Please fix the maxAppVer in the install.rdf to equal what you've actuallly tested with and update the XPI. Once you do that, reopen the bug and it'll be added.. Thanks.

Thanks for pointing that out - I was under the (wrong) impression that the nightlies were already being labelled as 0.8. Anyway, since the nightlies are such a moving target to work with I decided to limit the maxVersion to 0.7.1. Other than that the information in the first post is unchanged. The XPI was updated yesterday so should be already be mirrored. Thanks and sorry for the trouble, Mike K

Could you please update the description on the server to indicate compatibility with TB 0.8? I have a new version of addressContext ready for release in about a week, but in the meantime the 0.5 version currently posted works just fine with TB 0.8. If re-opening the bug isn't the correct way to go about requesting an update, please let me know how to proceed next time. Thanks! Mike K

Hi, University has loaded me with work so I haven't been able to make a new version of addressContext, but the current version is still compatible with Tb 0.9 and its subsequent nightlies. Could you please update the RDF file to reflect this compatibility? The new version should be ready over break (in late December). Thanks tons!

Sorry for the bugspam, but just wanted to note that addressContext works fine with the Tb 1.0 release candidate, so when you update the update.rdf file, please list the maxVersion as 1.0. Thanks tons!

Mike - The maxVer is taken from install.rdf, so go ahead and update that. You don't need a new version number, just let me know when it is done.

Hi Alan, I've updated the XPI on my mozdev site with the new maxVersion - is this where u.m.o queries for the install.rdf? The file might take an hour or two to propagate to all the mirrors (its noon PST right now) but hopefully when you receive this it will have updated throughout. Please advise if any further step is needed on my part. Thanks!
