User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 When load any url and stop before download completely and open a new tab to load another page the download is very slow, empty or null. I restart Firefox and it works again. The uninstall process doesnt clean every Firefox files and register entries. So, if you have an error on Firefox setup(Theme install, extension install, any), and uninstall/reinstall Firefox the the errors remain active. By example I install these script http://krath.dk/linux/flash_blocking/ for usercontent.css file, copy and paste. It works fine (although it blocks everything), but now I want to deactivate, so I delete the file and the script remain active :-/. Uninstall/Install Firefox and remain. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040703 That is not a Mozilla bug, and I assume, also not a Firefox bug. retry a correctly installed Firefox or Mozilla without using extensions, and using a new profile, just for test. If this works, install your extensions, one by one, and retest after each install. I assume your flashblocker extension is blocking. I´m using http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/nukeanything to manually get rid of disturbing ads in the mid of text.
