If you forward a mail and read the forwarded mail in Mozilla you get a 
attachment icon with a dropdown box where it says "forward.eml".
I dont think "forward.eml" it a very good term for forwarded mail.

Please change the text into something more understandable.

Why the .eml?
I dont think the user understands that. I sure dont!
Why not just "Forwarded Message" and then you might append ".eml" when pressing 
save.

Because it is important to have the extension since so much of what is done 
with mime type associations depends on extensions. Sorry, this is going to stay 
this way.

I still think the extension should be hidden from the user!
I dont care if you use extension internly in the code. The user is gonna be 
confused about the .eml extension in the UI.

This is not completly fixed. I still have mails that generated the forward.eml 
name.
Please see attached mail, which generates "forward.eml" name

Still dont understand the .eml? why not just .txt?
And why show it to the user in the attachment dropdown box? I still vote for 
only showing it when the user actually selects the forwarded attachment and have 
to save it.
So in the dropdown box the should say "ForwardedMessage" and in the save as 
dialog it should default to "ForwardedMessage.eml"

Ok, I missed one spot. I will fix the 'forward.eml' reference. On the .eml 
extension, this is not changing. Keep in mind, when it gets down to it, 
forwarded email messages are just attached parts to a multipart message. Doing 
what you suggest will special case RFC822 messages and I think be misleading to 
users. They will be saving the raw RFC822 data with this attachment so I see no 
problem in showing the extension that was sent with this message.

Also, I should note that if you are looking at an old message that happens to 
have "forward.eml" name in the mime part, this will be displayed instead of 
ForwardedMessage.eml.

Rich, please let me know what the fix is.  I read through all the comments and I 
thought you were leaving the .eml extension.  With builds 6-01-00, what I see 
now when I click on the Attachment icon in the header is just the subject name 
of the forwarded message (which is what Phil asked for early on) no extension, 
is this correct?

Yes, you should see the name of the subject be the actual name for the
attachment...I thought I had .EML at the end of it, but it doesn't look that
way. I could add that with a one line fix. I should probably do that.
