User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040706 Firefox/0.9.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040706 Firefox/0.9.0+ Currently the Import Settings and data dialog is available from the Firefox main window under File > Import . . . The problem with this is that some people (e.g.--me) would not think to look there to import IE Favorites, but instead look in the Bookmarks Manager. Currently, this dialog is not available from the Bookmarks Manager. It should be. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Bookmarks Manager 2. Open File > Import . . . Actual Results: No way to import IE Favorites from Bookmarks Manager > File > Import . . . Expected Results: In addition to current dialog box, the Import Settings and Data dialog from the main window should also be available.
Resolving as fixed. Evidently an old bug; the Import wizard is now available in the Bookmarks Manager window in Firefox 1.0, allowing users to import Favorites and bookmarks from other browsers. See bug 255151.
