User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Browser crashes instantly with no feedback or any other tracks that I can find. Mozilla 1.7 can display this without problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter the URL above 2.Hit "ENTER" 3. Actual Results: Browser crashes Expected Results: Display of web page.
Works For Me, using build from 7th july (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.0+) Flash is loaded by this site. Do you have flash, and if so, which version ? Mine is Shockwave Flash 7.0 r25 You can see it by entering "about:plugins" (without the quotes) in URL bar. Thanks.
Crashed here before Flash was installed. Using: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Works fine with Flash installed. But should it be necessary to install Flash to stop Firefox crashing?

Scott: TalkBack Quality Agent doesn't appear after crash? If yes, could you provide TalkBack Incident ID?

Summary: The URL above crashes Firefox 0.9.1 → URL on www.intellicast.com crashes Firefox 0.9.1
WORKSFORME on linux 0.9.1 and CVS, without flash installed. nullplugin pops up a dialog telling me I don't have the plugin installed. Do you have an old/incompatible version of flash somewhere that ffox is finding?
Works for me too, on win32 0.9.2 without Flash installed.
Environment: Fedora Core 2 with all updates running on a 2.6 Mhz HP with 512M. There is no chance to use Talkback. When I attempt to access the site, the open firefox windows simply vanishes. Let me know if there is any information I can get for you.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 win xp, freshs install, no flash nor extensions Works ok for me And i don't see any flash code in the source...
Please close this report. The problem was that I had a copy of the libjavaplugin_oji.so in the plugins directory rather than a symbolic link. Five dummy points for me. Is it possible for firefox to defend itself a little better against this particular user error?

possible yes? easy? no. if you have a spare hundred thousand dollars (rough estimate, it could take more) to pay a programmer to implement out of process plugins (including scriptability support), let me know :).
