STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Do a Google search.
2. Place your cursor in the search input at the top of the page and press ENTER.
RESULTS:
The Search button disappears along with the input form element.
EXPECTED:
The form elements should not disappear.

try clear cache and reload the page

This happens on Windows 2000 as well as XP. Clearing cache does not help. Tested
now with 20040708.

This bug report is really old, both Firefox and Google have evolved, i have no such issues under Windows XP SP2 running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0a2) Gecko/20120307 Firefox/12.0a2.
