You may _sort_ your messages by [many ways], and Thunderbid allows you to sort
them by a specific way for each folder, but you can't display unread messages in
only one folder.

Worse: if you want to display only unread messages in newsgroups, only new
messages are displayed in your mailbox.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Pick the option View > Messages > Unread
2.Surf between folders

Actual Results:  
All folders (and newsgroups) display only unread messages.

Expected Results:  
The set should be specific.

This can be performed by using   View|Threads|Unread   on any folder you choose.
The terminology is confusing (see bug 237164), but this 'filtered' view may be 
threaded or unthreaded.
