User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Websquid/0.9.2 (All your Firefox/0.9.2 are belong to Firesomething)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2
While connected to a network (network #1) last saved link, with mouse context
menu , was saved to a network resource. After changing the environment to
another network (network #2), when trying to save link as freezes the browser
because it tries to connect to the non-existing network resource.
Network #1 is a LAN with internal addressing 192.168.0.x and network #2 is under
a class C net with unique IP:s.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any web page
2. Find a link and save as...
3. Save to a network resource
4. Change the network environment
5. Try the same procedure (web page and save link as)
Actual Results:
Firefox freezes and does not respond.
Expected Results:
I should have been presented with a save as dialog.
As soon as the computer finds itself back in network #1 the save link as works.
Hence last save location must be on a local resource.
I believe it is some kind of problem with how Firefox is communicating with
Windows file and network handling.
